Public Relation of IAIN Parepare – The SPAN PTKIN IAIN Parepare Verification Team is currently conducting the verification and assessment process for SPAN PTKIN 2024 at the TIPD Building, Thursday (21/03/2024).
The scoring and assessment activities this year are different from the previous year, which were carried out by the national committee together with verifiers from PTKIN. This year, it is held at each PTKIN.
Muhammad Haramain, the Head of the Verification Team, explained that this year, there were 2,372 prospective registrants for the SPAN PTKIN pathway. This number is to fill 1,500 quotas at IAIN Parepare. .
"IAIN Parepare is the second-largest PTKIN applicant in Sulawesi after UIN Alauddin Makassar. This shows that students' interest in IAIN Parepare is quite high," he explained.
He also explained that the verification process aims to ensure the validity and accuracy of the report card values and achievements of students who apply to enter PTKIN through the SPAN pathway, as part of an effort to maintain academic quality in the university environment.
"There are 12 verifiers who are members of this team and will check the data on student report card values and achievements uploaded through the online registration system. This step is important to ensure that each applicant meets the requirements set by each PTKIN," explained Haramain. .
The first day of the verification process was also monitored directly by the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development, H. Saepuddin. .
Saepudin hopes that this activity can run smoothly and the accuracy of the verification process is maintained. "Thank you to all students who have registered for SPAN and to the entire verification team, there should be no manipulation of values to pass certain participants, do it carefully and transparently," he said.
